I've a PHP supply file the place characters routinely got added in! I do not know from where they have got come. I'm no longer getting any parse mistakes but it results in bizarre conduct in the execution of the report. E.g. header location capability is not running every now and then! I'm curious how those type of symbols are getting auto generated? I'm the use of UTF-Eight encoding & the signal isn't showing in Notepad++ or Windows Notepad however with Netbeans IDE.
Eg. Code:
<?php echo "no errors!"; header("Location: http://stackoverflow.com"); exit; ?>What is this? How can I prevent it?

Some Windows programs upload BOM by default. In Notepad++ you'll use some options in the Encoding menu like Encode in UTF without BOM or Convert to UTF with out BOM.

I imagine that whether or not you reserve it UTF-Eight without or with BOM it nonetheless happens. I do not believe it makes a distinction.
Try it, see if it helps.

From a device like vi or vim, you'll be able to alter and save the report without a BOM with the two following instructions :
